Hmmm
Do I like the Paris shows on LLSwTV'sCF
Hmmm (again)
I'm thinking Sir Richard Attenbrough's travel shows meets PeeWee's Playhouse narrated buy Mr. Rogers as done by the Scottish doppelganger of Will Smith.
But only if he'd a robot sidekick and a French impersonator.
Yep.
.
Yeah.

"these are not sterling silver

LOL I'm buying a pair of vintage safety welding goggles. Or at least I'm trying to, those Steampunk kiddos are quick. Anyway that quote is from the listing. I know that it also applies to some of my affairs de cour but heck sometimes ya gotta just go with what ya' got.
Think global.
Act local.
Works for me.... :D
I know that for a CF of LLS fan to say this is their kind of hearsy but I'm not watching this weeks shows realtime. Have been watching recorded version of the night before and getting sleep.
Or trying to get a pair of these safety goggles.
I need these things so that I can go cut some wood.
Out of doors.
With a saw.
And then hammer stuff.

Good morning bored people.
I am sitting here or rather on my back looking at the people passing by. I can do this because of my very large, very dark sunglasses. The drink on the table is fruity to hid the taste of rum and if I can manage it, this will be the drink of choice for the next 4 days. Not 2 worry. I have paid someone 20 bucks to not only bring me more fruity drinks so that I don't dehydrate but to also periodically spray me with sun screen so that I don't spontaneously combust.
The music is latin. My clothes are optional. I am smiling.
How are you?

Crazy. Stupid. Love.
The problem with crazy, stupid, and love in a movie is that the current film industry thinks that - if - it's love? It must ...
Ah who am I kidding.
Poptarts are better for you than this movie.
Marathon watching of the PowerPuff Girls cartoons is a better use of your time.
Heck Jennifer Anniston did it better a bunch of times.
The entire film catalog of the 1980 -90's did it better.
Even the 1970's did it better with the Brady Bunch.
Archaic references? Yes because this formula is so over done that you better have something different to say about it or leave it alone.
This weekend I'm going to see Cowboys vs Aliens. It's about a cowboy of the 1800's who wakes up with amnesia and a very bad feeling. He's been abducted. By aliens. No, not the illegal kind. The kind from outter space.
Kind of like the Wild Wild West movie . The one with Will Smith.
This one.

Oh no. It's really, really, really ..... a movie review? WTF?
Crazy. Stupid. Love
Well there's your review of this movie.
.
I'm not paying 10 bucks plus pop and corn to see this movie.
I don't care about Ryan G's junk or his abs.
(Really not that big of a deal.)
I REALLY don't care to see Steve Carrol "shudder" suffer.
(I saw Dan in Real Life. I saw Date Night. It's not stupid enough to be clever (think Dinner for Smucks). Honest to God Steve, please you seem funny. Enough with the suffering.)
It's not good parody and this kind of thing has been done to death or much better for serious. It's like eatting frog's legs, you try it, you think "Awh, this is awful. WHY did I even begin to think this would be a good idea." Yet, you soldier on thinking of all those starving keygrips but it's so bad you go see CowboysVSAliens to get the "bad taste" out of your mouth.
Maybe it's time for the "ennui" generation to get that it isn't the best to parody itself or come up with the next Friends franchise/clone. PLEASE leave the 80's and 90's out of it.
OR make a real live movie about what happens to to you when you get divorce in YOUR OWN time period.
Go make another vampire movie, parody the 70's,or make "JerseyShore. The Movie".
Crazy. Stupid. Love

It would seem that I'm not particularly good at being celibate. Which is why it was very good that I missed that Irish golf commentator guy on LLS with Tv's CF.
CF and that guy in the same interview would be tricky. :)
That's why I'm watching this
I reaaallllyy don't like being celibate.

Dear diary,
Craig Ferguson is either pre taped or on vaca repeats.
The "fly in my ointment" has finally gotten a clue and fledged.
Pup is okay.
WB is okay.
And I've got stuff to put on my already done list.
Not sure that I remember how but I need to have fun STAT!
What to do? What to do?
I've given it the best effort. I've been told that everyone has their life to live and I'm not invited. I tried and I tried and then I sat down and really thought about it. If folks are all squared away and don't need me? My time is now my own. Hmmm. That's not happened for over 20 years. I actually have time to myself and a boat. Hmmmm. I can go fishin' or sailing without having to coordinate. I can go sit in the hammock and read in the evening. All I have to do is keep up with the pups.
So I thought some more and well - if no one needs me (too late you already said that you didn't) -well I'm gonna take a vacation too. Stay up. Sleep in. Screw off.
Ya'll? I ain't NEVER had too much fun. :D
Seriously, I've got to go goof off now.
Yay!

Dear friend Newt,
This world is such a beautiful place. You and I both know that. You with the mountains that you climb. Me? The water has always been my home. Even when it's a million miles a way ,it's there in our hearts. It whispers, "Come home."
I don't know what mountain you are climbing at the moment but there is sad in the world. I don't know about you, but I for one could use a story, a virtual Zen Garden, and a good friend who is a writer. That is what I miss here (besides the big water). I miss sitting and talking. I miss knowing that we are in the same world.
Who will be my writing buddy if you are gone?
The second blog post that I wrote on eBay blogs was about talking around my PawPaw and MawMaw's table. I can still see it, Newt. In alot of ways, the kitchen here is like it. In storage, somewhere, I have my own table. It's round and made of oak. I bought it from someone who's life was changing. Now, I keep it safe while my life changes. Like the pups, I hold on to it. I'm keeping the faith that I'll have it there in my kitchen. A place to swap stories.
The thing is, Newt, I don't have anyone to remind me not to over analyse and just to listen to a story like a child.
There is something missing.
I'm missing my writing friend.
I miss my friend.
LOL I know that when I wrote my stories that I hoped that you were reading them. When I knew that you were, it made me smile. When I found out that you not only read them but that they made you smile? I was over the moon happy. If I could know that you still read my stories, I could write them even if I didn't get to chat with you or hear how your life is going. Something to look forward to, it would mark the days. It would give me a calm place to be in my heart.
It would slow time.
I miss you as a friend something fierce.
I don't know how but I'm hoping - no - I'm willing that you'll cross this way again.
Hugs
Iron
The new stories are with the hope that some how Newt and Lexi will find them. We are seated at the virtual table swapping stories. We are safe from the growing thunder.
Once, the world was new and fresh as the face of a sleeping child, ...
LOL My foot itches. BRB.

Was very sad to learn about the tragedy in Norway.
When I read the account of the troubles there, my first thought was to wonder what we as people are coming to. Then I thought that I could put something here to remind me that for all the people who tear the world down, there are others who are creating and building futures.
Hugs to the folks in Norway. Honestly I'm at a loss as to what the folks who did this were thinking.
I do know that it's not what I call Christian.
Not at all.
Again hugs and healing thoughts.

Dear Gentle Readers,
I have to go for abit. No - nothings wrong. I'm fine. So's my family. I've just got a lot that I need to do this week and if I get on the computer, I'll spend my time writing and looking instead of getting my work done. That's the sum of it.
Anyway, while I'm gone, I thought that you might like to read a book that I just finished. The book, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe, was written by Fannie Flag in the late 1980's and is about an area that I know well. Ms. Flagg is from the south just like I am and she's captured the "music" of the language and the environment of the old south in a truthful but not hurtful way. The story is about two different times in Birmingham, Alabama and about the town folks of Whistle Stop. It's a good story and at the end there are recipes for fried chicken and biscuits and beans and well not only will you hear the words, you can try the food too. Since there are folks reading my blog from different parts of the world, I thought that you might like get a taste of where I'm from. Next to the book, The Secret Lives of Bees by Sue Monk Kid , there's not a more gentle book about hard times.
Yes, I know, there's a movie adaptation of both, but read the books. Okay?
I kind of wish that I was able to swap the stories of where we each are from. Thing is I've just about given up finding out who reads what I write. But- I haven't given up on writing the words that you'll read. It's just that I'll be gone for the next week. So get hold of the book (or books) and give it (or them) a read while I'm gone.. I imagine that you might find it online or in your local library. When I get back I'll tell you about what I've been up to.
Enjoy the puzzles,
Hugs,
AuthorAnn
Note. It's been raining and Fried Green Tomatoes... is the book I've been reading in the rain. We're in the hot season of the year. The sky gets so hot in the afternoon "she" can't stand it so she cries in her sorrow and we get rain. Can't do much outside. I crawled into bed and read and read. I love reading while it's raining. The air gets still and then cool. A breeze comes up. The sound of single rain drops turn into a kind of white noise. If I could, I'd read all afternoon in the rain on a porch like the one my PawPaw built for my MawMaw. There I'd sit out on the glider where you could smell the Russian Olives and ozone. After a while, the sound of the rain seems to disappear into a kind of white noise and there's just the story and my imagination. This afternoon was a treat. I wish that you could have been there. :)
This last part's for Newt if she ever reads this.
And for something I'm told is old school southern -
Fa so la singing from north Alabama. My dad tells the story of being a kid, years and years and years ago, standing in the town square and hearing folks Fa So La singing. Also known as "shape note" singing, the notes are in geometric shapes rather than the quarter, half, and whole note notation that we use today. Each note in the Fa So La scale is given a name from the generic scale of "do", "rae", "me", "fa", "so", "la", "te", and "do" that are sung instead of words. (Although I noticed that in this song there was first the Fa So La singing and then the melody with lyrics. Go figure. )
I'm told it's of this place where I live.
Gotta go. Hugs 2u, Ann,

and that is what I really like about the LLS.
It's not what they have.
It's what they do - or rather have done - with what they have.
There comes a time in life when you realize that not everything you face is in your control.
BUT
How you deal with it is.
I'm not overly fond of the sexual inuendos or the vaudvillian "Wink, wink, nod, nod." but I am always delighted with the cerebral nature of the show. It's the times, when the thrust and the parry are blunted with humanity, that I smile and laugh out loud.
Any lout can return an uncomfortabble situation with mindless anger but only a quick mind can return it with sharp humor.
That's worth a begrudging admiration.
Do'tcha think?
:D
Just sayin'.
The next cryptoquote goes with the twitter that got you here.
Hugs.

Honey, you gotta' love a man who can dance...
LOL. It wasn't until I saw this video that I actually believed that Mr. Ferguson has had some kind of dance training.
Also.
It was the first time that I wondered who this guy is in real life.
And well the thought did occur - I mean you'd have to be stone cold frigid not to wonder - because I've seen guys dance that don't have - well- something - who couldn't get up on the horse much less ride.... I did wonder.
Wow.

Forgot how much I really liked this song.
Hmm Howdy. Hope things are good with you Gentle Reader. It's still hot. It's still trying to rain every evening (not complaining as we really do need the rain and afternoon or evening rain works except for the problems with not burning off so maybe an early morning rain might work -- LOL I love a good run on sentence. Anyway.
Things are good.
Pup got to go see the space shuttle launch. Had a great time and saw a bit of history. He's happy.
I'm reading a new book that I got from the Dollar General. If you don't know what a Dollar General is, it's like the old 5 and dime stores only now everything costs a dollar or more. It's got 365 things, that if you do them, should make you happy. #3 says that aromatherapy is our friend. I agree. I honestly think that's why God created The Bath and Body Works. To lift our spirits with lovely sent. In case you are wondering, I smell like a conbination of White Citris (lotion) and Japanese Cherry Blossom. In other words, I smell lovely and spirit is suitably lifted.
It's on sale (75% off), sold online, and I love a present.
Just saying,
Hugs and smooches,
AuthorAnn
PS Why yes I am writing. Gone low tech with paper and pencil. I miss the speed of recording, the spell check, and the ability to cut and paste but some how I'm surviving. It's just easier. I do check in on the Twitter. www.twitter.com/GoatHerderBoy Follow me there and I can DM.

PS I'm putting the most important Zen moment here. The folks who designed all the equipment and who flew all the ships at one point all had the feeling of stepping past the known into the future. The could have stayed at home safe. The could have tucked away their dreams in a closet saying, "How can I?" The didn't. That is the Zen of this life. To dare to dream and then to dare to take a chance on that dream coming true. The moment that Atlantis leaves the ground I will be so proud to hear this. It's such an amazing thing to fly. It's such an amazing thing to go farther.
I hope that I remember that possibility in my own life. So to Pup.
Pup has that ability to "fly" in his heart and in his mind. To see the future.
He's born to fly. Me too. My Dad and my Mom. Even WB even though he doesn't really believe it yet.
That's a pretty good Zen moment.
Hugs, Newt and Lexi. Hugs to WB and Pup. Hugs to the fella who said, "Go have fun with your son."
It's good to be born to fly.
Hugs.

'Chicken Catch - a -torie
Chicken Frick -a - seee.
Come here, Grilled Chicken.
You look like lunch to meeeeee."
WB and Pup have named the "supposed to be hen but sure acts like a rooster so if it is a hen it's either a very type A hen or a lesbian chicken" hen, Grilled Chicken. Actually after today they've named them all. Each of them are named after chicken recipes. There's even a song. That's the words to the song up there.
Help.
If you're a member of PETA or perhaps a vegan?
You probably aren't going to be thrilled about this post.
If you read the previous post, you know that last night we had guests. Emmie, our amazing climbing dog, and the 5 chickens (one who turns out to be either a rooster or a lesbian chicken), are all sitting politely in the bathroom with the exhaust fan doing triple duty. They're still our house guests. I wrote about it here . Mister Music please, "Uh , Dad, Mom's eating chocolate frosting out of the jar again...
It started to rain again just after I'd put the water and food in the chicken enclosure and right before I put out the chickens. This isn't just any kind of rain. It's the kind where the wind blows and the lightening goes nuts and so does Domi. Anyway, I tried to put Emmie back in the kennel, it's raining, the other pups got out, then Emmie climbed the fence AGAIN. I'm covered in dog hair and mud but can't take a shower until it stops with the lightening.
Here we are, once again, all one big happy animal/human family.
"Bwak, Supper Chicken - oops, I mean - Super Chicken. I need a barn."
Soggy yay.
Ann
PS I don't know how Emmie learned to climb the kennel fence. I didn't teacher her but she looked mighty pizzed when I put her back outside after being inside on her own rug. Can't blame her for being annoyed. I would bring her inside but I just don't have any more room.
"Lord, I really do need a barn. Or, with all the rain? Maybe an ark."

Dear Gentle Reader,
I hope you had a great day and will have an even better evening. We had a pretty good day. The people we met were nice and we actually had a couple of surprises that I'd never have guessed.
Then we came home and had a few more.
Tonight, in addition to moving the 5 chickens from their outside pin into their inside box for when it rains (re storms) and comforting one pup who literally hides under the covers when it storms, we are also entertaining a "guest". Emmie, one of our outside dogs, has gotten out of her kennel 3am night before last, yesterday am, yesterday pm, and tonight. I've been at a loss as to how one 15 pound dog could get out of a enclosure 8 feet high. We looked for holes and we looked for unlocked kennel doors and well nothing. Tonight we found out that she can climb. If Pup hadn't seen it and told me I'd thought it was a joke. Alas no joke. It would seem that my little pup has skills worthy of David Letterman's stupid pet tricks. She can climb up the side of the kennel (all eight feet of it), jump over the top and then jump the 8 feet down to doggie freedom. Since it's raining outside and I can't take a chance that she'll climb out again, I've put her in the now crowded bathroom along with the chickens, turned off the light and prayed to God for a thunderstorm so that my other pup, Domi, will stay under the covers and away from Emmie. For the record, Domi doesn't hate Emmi. She just doesn't care for the competition.
If I'm lucky? The chickens will roost, Domi will stay under the covers, and Emmie will bed down on the rug; they'll all go to sleep.
I hope. At the moment the other inside dogs are barking at the bathroom door. So much for Emmie going to sleep.
As for me?
I'm going to take a hot shower and watch MASH (movie not the tv show). I'm pretending this is Noah's Ark and the dear Lord himself has commanded all the furry and feathery creatures to get along.
I'm also asking God for a barn.
Will let you know if there was any doggie or chicken or doggie and chicken carnage during the night.
Happy Independence Day.
Roll with it.
Love and kisses,
Author Ann

Hi ya.
If you read 12dots you know that I've been trying a bit of an experiment. For the last month, I've kind of thrown out the list of those things "to do" in favor of an "already done" list of accomplishments. In 31 days I've finally started doing the things that are important to me instead of the list of "expecteds". I can do that now. It's been a bit like closing my eyes and jumping into life. In the past 31 days the list of things done has grown much faster than I'd thought. The decisions that I make now are quicker and much clearer than before this experiment. LOL, I value my time more than I did before. While it's a bit of an adjustment for some family members, Pups prospered from it and has been adding to his own "already accomplished" list.
I thought that I might write online about it as I did over the last month, however, Pup's asked me for my help and - well - there are only so many hours in a day. I'm not sure that I can record the process and do it at the same time. At first, I thought that I might just for go writing on the blog all together but then I thought of Twitter. By it's very nature, Twitter is designed to be short comments on the month, the week, the day, or the minute's event. I can write longer posts on the blog but I can keep a kind of outline of the process much easier on Twitter. This will allow me to actually live my life and help Pup with what he'd like to do and still write about it.
That's what I intend to do.
Just like writing a daily haiku would allow me to write daily but still be involved in a very active life process, the Twitter entries will allow me to write about my life and still actually live it. I might even use the Tweets to communicate with WB and Pup. (Note: I doubt if WB would be interested but Pup might. Pup's interest would be half the process and double our fun.)
Please note that I'll still be writing here in the comments. THIS ISN"T AN INACTIVE BLOG>>>
Well that's pretty much what's up. Still will do the Zen moments in this blog but I meant what I wrote in the previous blog post about a change in course but still the same way point.
Hugs,
AuthorAnn
PS I recommend the Give Your Stress A Rest/Zen Experiment. The moments of quiet introspection aren't selfish. On the contrary, life is so "loud" that the responsibilities can drowned out your own voice. Make sure that what you chose is moral and legal and considers your family but don't let that "to do" list that they give you to do overwhelm who you are.
Hugs.
Notes from the field are on Twitter unless noted. I'm not leaving just taking a very welcome chance to spend time with Pup, the farm, and the boat. That is a very good thing.
And Newt? I wonder at what you must think at my use of the words Zen?
Good and kind thoughts. Hugs.

Happy summer ladies!! It's official. So how does this slacker spend the first day of summer?
In a doctor's waiting room.
I do get to go out to eat (hospital cafeteria) and I do get to go to my favorite city (out the window on the drive up and in the hospital waiting areas) and hey, I do get to see visit with my dad (during the drive up to and back from the hospital) and I will get to spend time with the new chickens, Pup, the pups, and WB (tonight after I get back from the doctor's office).
And most important? My dad has heath care.
I'm not going to complain about how I spend today.

GoatHerderBoy's Rules of Dating
Rule six
"Because all the good looking girls will still go out with the guys from Mohawk because they've got all the money."
It just doesn't matter.
Well, sometimes it does, but most times it's good to have a healthy perspective on the process. Now I don't think that, in the set of all really good looking women in this world, every good looking woman would only go out with you because you've got the money.
But some would.
Should you ask them out?
Sure.
Would they go out with you?
Sure.
Should you make sure to tell them that you're only interested in having fun and nothing serious?
Yeah, I would. It's not fair to let anyone think that you're serious about them when you aren't really.
You want to have fun and NOT hurt their feelings.

Today I found the following op-ed piece in the NYTimes.
There seems to be an notion that woman have to be regulated for some reason. Apparently a woman isn't able to control herself or her urges. And now men are following the same moral path according to the op ed.
It just seems strange to hear. After all the advances, yes advances, that woman have made, there are still women who think that keeping the infidelity of man a secret is the right thing to do and that if they'd just tried hard enough -- well the that poor man just couldn't help himself.
I actually heard on a radio show about Wiener's (LOL oh gawd I am so sorry but ...) withdrawal, that women were becoming just as greedy as men. It was the woman being interviewed idea that when it comes to infidelity? Woman should keep it quiet. That's certainly what Eleanor would have done.
I mean look at Eve and Adam.
Wasn't it Eve who got Adam to take the first bite?
Sheesh
The Op Ed piece
“WHAT was he thinking?” That’s the question columnists, talking heads and my (mostly female) friends have been asking about Representative Anthony D. Weiner of New York, who announced Thursday that he would resign, just over a week after admitting he’d sent sexually explicit photographs and messages to women over the Internet.
Sadly, that question has been asked of a dizzying number of unfaithful men in recent memory: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Mark Sanford, John Ensign, John Edwards, Eliot Spitzer, Newt Gingrich, Bill Clinton ... the list goes on and on.
The conventional answer is that when it comes to sex, a certain kind of man, no matter how intelligent, doesn’t think at all; he just acts. Somehow a need for sexual conquest, female adulation and illicit and risky liaisons seems to go along with drive, ambition and confidence in the “alpha male.” And even if we denounce him and hound him from office, we tend to accept the idea that power accentuates the lusty nature of men.
This conception of masculinity is relatively new, however. For most of Western history, the primary and most valued characteristic of manhood was self-mastery. Late antique and Roman writers, like Plutarch, lauded men for their ability to resist sexual temptation and control bodily desire through force of will and intellect. Too much sex was thought to weaken men: a late-15th-century poem mocks an otherwise respectable but overly sexually active burgess who has “wasted and spent” his “substance” until there is “naught left but empty skin and bone.”
Rampant sexuality was something men were supposed to grow out of: in medieval political theory, young male bodies were used as symbols of badly run kingdoms. A man who indulged in excessive eating, drinking, sleeping or sex — who failed to “rule himself” — was considered unfit to rule his household, much less a polity.
Far from seeming “manly,” aggressive sexuality was associated with women. In contrast to the Victorian view of women that is still influential today, ancient and medieval writers described women as consumed by lust and sexual desire. In 1433, officials in Florence charged with regulating women’s dress and behavior sought “to restrain the barbarous and irrepressible bestiality of women who, not mindful of the weakness of their nature, forgetting that they are subject to their husbands, and transforming their perverse sense into a reprobate and diabolical nature, force their husbands with their honeyed poison to submit to them.”
Because of this association of sexuality with femaleness, men who failed to control their sexual urges or were susceptible to feminine attractions found their masculinity challenged. Marc Antony was roundly mocked as having been “softened and effeminized” by his desire for Cleopatra. When the king and war hero Pedro II of Aragon spent the night before a battle not in prayer or council but in bed with a woman, he was labeled effeminate.
Few of us would wish to revive these notions or endorse medieval misogyny. But in the face of recent revelations about the reckless and self-indulgent sexual conduct of so many of our elected officials, it may be worth recalling that sexual restraint rather than sexual prowess was once the measure of a man.
How and why have we moved so far from this ideal? Why do so many powerful men take sexual risks that destroy their families and careers? Contemporary worship of youth is one explanation: rather than shunning the idea of childishness, many adults, male and female, now spend much of their time clinging to an illusory and endless adolescence. The ability to be a “player” well into middle age thus becomes a point of pride, rather than shame, for the modern man. Perhaps the erosion of men’s exclusive status as breadwinners and heads of households also figures in: when one no longer “rules the household,” there may be less motivation for or satisfaction in “ruling oneself.”
But in the face of recent headlines I find myself less inclined to analyze or excuse current mores than to echo medieval ones. The critics of Pedro II of Aragon would have turned Arnold Schwarzenegger’s own words against him and his kind: Who are the girlie men now?

This is for someone who I have never met but whose photo kinda changed my life for the better. During my exploring through Twitter, I came upon a tweet from this same person that said she was leaving for a new job. Wanted to share this with her and thank her for posting that photo.
The following is a comment about the photo much later.

"Seize the moment.
.
I'm thinking about the photo of the woman under the water. It's the one where she's holding a small sea creature. She's holding it up to the camera as if to say, "See, look at this. This iife and it's amazing. Go see for yourself." At the time -even thought we didn't know each other, I felt that was an important thing to remember. I can still close my eyes and see that photo.
"Go out into the world and see. It's amazing."
So today we have our own photo.
And that is a true moment.
Go out into the world and look.
It's awesome."
This blog? It's for me to put snippets and longer of words and ideas. While there are elements of my life in this blog, it's more of a writing journal than a personal one. But some sections are personal. It's quite a time of change in my life and in the lives of my family. Some changes like the one noted above have been very good.
Thank you, Andrea.
I don't know you and you don't know me but your photo? It kind of changed my life.
So to you?
"Go out into the world and look.
It's awesome."
Hugs from a complete stranger.

Dear Congressman Wiener,
Remember how Bill Clinton said that he did not have sex with that woman and then they found that blue dress Monica's friend said it would be a good idea to keep? Then remember how after that happened Rush Limbaugh and all of the conservative political types started yelling, "Impeach Clinton" and "Clinton should quit." I sure do. Then remember how there was an impeachment trial, and the famous "Hillary, Bill, and Chelsea walk to the helicopter and doesn't Hillary look pizzed" photo. It was on all the news channels and news papers.
Anyway.
Not only do I remember that folks were calling for Bill Clinton to resign through all of this, I also remember that he did not.
Now it is true that Bill Clinton is cuter than you are and well- his last name isn't an unfortunate description of your press photos (get a new one please.) I'm still thinking that there is a real lesson in history for you.
So pay attention.
I know that a name change at this point won't help you a whole lot but a positive, can attitude might do wonders.
Get a new photo.
Put on the game face.
And think to yourself, "What would Bill do?"
Love and hugs,
A Voter.
This is a politics free zone people. If you think I'm going to make a political reference concerning the current situation with Wiener? You'd be soooooooooo. wrong. :P
Then again, "Look. Look coming down the lannne. Here comes Scott. Here comes, Dot. Here comes Chicken Jaaaaaneee."
Stop laughing.
That's enough.
Now to important stuff. Like my blog.
Note for political wonks, wanna be's, and " red neck rubber neckers who're just gawking"...
Look up how Carol Mosely Braun lost reelection and then got trounced by John Kerry during the Democratic primaries. This is quite a woman. She actually got Howell Heflin to vote for her against the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Then there's the fact that when she supported Bill, who sucessfully supported her first election in Ill.. And (lol this just gets me) who was also supported by the then unknown Barack Obama who went on to out man Hillary in the Dem presidential primary.
Hang on. I'm dizzy from all this interconnected- ness.
Well all together now
LOL
Enough politics.
I've gotta go outside and world. Read next post for doorway to 12dots.

No.
No, no, no. I know that this song says to love the one you're with but no.
There is a reason why God created emails, text messages, and letters.
Do not under any circumstances love the one you are with if you are missing someone far away. Just call. You'll feel better.

"So that I won't forget.
LOL My life. It's been complicated and now I wonder at how easily falls into place. Even the hard parts are good. There's this feeling. Have you every had to move something heavy? You know where you have to put all your might into it. When I move a board or redo something because the first time didn't work, or when you just are determined to do something even though there's a chorus inside your head chanting, "No, no, nooo you can't. No, no no, give up." You sit there in the dark or out in the bright light of day and you wonder if this is it.
I remember seeing my father sitting there in the wheel chair hardly able to look up and asking the therapist, "Is this it?" He could barely stand up and his speech was slurred. This is a man who I thought could move mountains with a look.
"Get up."
The words I heard in my head. It's what I was tellling myself when I'd rather have just sat there forever. "How could he die?" When you think that you can't ever see the light of day again. Something. Something has to pull you through that moment. If you don't you founder.
You die.
"Get up."
I did.
He did.
It was a terrible lesson to learn because the scars of it cut so deep."
If Life Is A Highway? I Hope It's a Fun Trip."

I'm wondering if the everyday love that gets folks through the mundane as well as the extra ordinary days of our lives isn't the great love people talk about. For over 60 years my grandma and grandpa lived together. She cooked his meals and washed his clothes and he went out into the world and brought back a paycheck. That's not the part I find interesting. The part that makes me pay attention is something that I saw in a photo. It was taken when they were in their 60's or 70's. They'd been married along time by then. There they sat in my parent's living room. MawMaw sitting in PawPaw's lap and both of them smiling like newly weds.
Everyday.
Think about it.
